The Subaru TSB for this issue shows that you have to take the dash apart. The plastic claws get wrapped in a special tape that’s available from the parts department or order on line. The dealership should be able to follow the instructions in the TSB. Ask if warranty will cover.

It's probably the two triangular black plastic end pieces on the windshield vents way up front on the dash, they fit loosely and can rattle. I've already used foam tape on those.
