I did some research on germinating Carolina Reaper seeds and I noticed that no paper towel method was mentioned, instead it’s placing the seeds directly in seed starter mix and on a heat mat. I don’t have a heat mat at home. WebI am having trouble germinating a couple varieties. I tried around 20 species and was successful with 15, but I cannot get the last five to start. They are: Biquinto, Chilitepin, Rocoto, Orange Bird and Alma Paprika. All seeds from same source. The method I am using is putting 3-4 seeds in fresh seed starter mix in trays with a humidity dome.
