WebDec 29, 2024 · This is a lovely image with fantastic detail in the fainter nebulosity. I think it works quite well as a starless rendition. I will say I think the Flame Nebula and main band of the Horsehead nebula are a little muted. I might be tempted to increase their brightness since you have a lot of tonal range headroom. On the other hand the detail of the Flame and the vibrance of the Ha around the Horsehead is fabulous in the PI result.
