I don't have much experience with performance shocks per say, but I can tell you that after I lifted my JKU 2.5" and swapped to the Rancho 9000xl's I feel like my Jeep rides better than stock. I don't know if the 7000's are adjustable or not, but that feature is definitely awesome on the 9000's.

No more bouncing around, full control when hitting rough spots, and felt much more planted at high (80 mph) speeds.
