We jokingly called it the “poor man’s ocean view” because gasp! The resort grounds were between us and the beach!! WebI have stayed in Kalia and Diamond Head for the first parts of two trips there. Kalia is the newest and its rooms are nicely furnished. If you want a decent ocean view then get a high floor. The only drawback is the walk to the superpool/beach especially with a toddler. Diamond Head is old and the least desirable but more centrally located.
